Dip/Rip is a chart-pattern practice game. It uses simulated markets — no real money, no brokerage, no real trades. This policy explains everything the app and this website collect, in plain language. There is nothing collected that isn't listed here.
If you play as a guest without signing in, nothing is collected at all — your XP and streak live only on your device.
Dip/Rip is a social game, and two surfaces are public by design:
diprip.app/f/YOURCODE) shows your display name, handle,
profile picture and headline stats (streak, win rate, best R) to anyone who has the link — that's what makes
the invite work. Share the link only with people you're happy seeing it.Account and gameplay data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway in the United States. This website is served by Cloudflare. Both act as infrastructure providers only — standard server logs (IP address, request time) exist for security and debugging, are kept only for the short window the hosting providers retain them, and are not used for anything else. If you use Dip/Rip from outside the US, your data is processed in the US as described here.
The legal basis for processing (where one is required): running your account and the game you signed up for; for the waitlist, your consent — which the removal form withdraws.
In the app: Menu (☰) → Delete account. Immediate and permanent.
Without the app: use diprip.app/delete-account — works even if you've already uninstalled.
Deletion permanently removes your account, profile (XP, level, streak), friend links in both directions, and everything that identifies you. Your completed practice setups are kept only as anonymous statistics — the link to your account is permanently severed, so they say "someone once traded this pattern with this result" and can never be traced back to you. These anonymous rows help power the global pattern statistics every player sees.

Deletion is self-serve: in the app or at the deletion page. For access, correction or export of your data, contact @Mikein0regon on X and we'll respond within 30 days. We honor these rights regardless of where you live.
Dip/Rip is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact @Mikein0regon on X and we will delete it within 30 days.
Dip/Rip is an educational simulation. Charts are computer-generated practice scenarios; scores and statistics describe game performance, not real-market results, and nothing in the app is investment advice.
